Live Your Life With Intention. The Time For Change Is Now.

What is Holistic Wellness Coaching?

A wellness health coach helps you examine your relationship with areas of health and wellness most applicable to you. The deeper nature of your well-being is taken into consideration as all levels of health such as emotional and spiritual health are assessed. A coach is your advocate, your supporter and will keep you accountable through a customized program.

What can a Holistic Wellness Coach help me accomplish?

A Holistic Wellness Coach helps you form actionable steps to make progress towards your self-chosen goals. Wellness Coaching takes into consideration the entirety of your life as a picture of your health, not just diet and exercise alone. A coach works with you to start checking things off your wellness “wish list” by breaking down overwhelming tasks into daily and weekly activities to help you make measurable progress.

Coaching will help you transform your habitual daily choices that are not moving you toward your ideal self, into time efficient and exciting new ways to succeed at self-actualization.

Why work with a Wellness Coach?

Our society’s current way of proving healthcare isn’t enough. We need to move away from the idea that disease management equates to being healthy and take responsibility for our health by implementing mindful, long-term ways of preventing disease all together.

Western medicine looks at the human body in parts instead of as a whole. We are actually a system of systems and consideration must be made into how each of them is performing.

First Steps To Achieving Optimal Wellness:

Gut Health

Mindfulness

What in the world do these things have to do with how you feel?!

These two factors affect every decision we make, every mood that passes and the future of our physical health. Summed together, our entire life experience! Read on below for more details.

What is gut health and how does affect my overall health?

What is gut bacteria?Did you know that 80-90% of our immune system lives in the gut. The “gut” refers to the entire digestive system and the balance of bacteria that live within it. The collection of microbes that live in and on the human body is known as the microbiota.

Ensuring that the gut is healthy and full of good bacterial by way of nutrition and supplementation is tackling the root cause of illness rather than managing symptoms as they arise.

Mindfulness is at the root of every decision you make

mindfulness-office-mayhemDeveloping a mindfulness practice is be a core teaching during your wellness coaching program. Meditation, a key component of a mindfulness practice, has been clinically studied and shown to lower blood pressure and stress levels. Stress can have negative affects on your state of health. Changes you can expect after some regular practice are feeling more connected to the world around you, the ability to concentrate better and help you better understand your own thought patterns and choices.

We Help You With Make Lasting Lifestyle Changes

Holistic wellness coaching focuses on sustainable lifestyle changes that improve your life experience. Coaching is not concerned with your past failures but is instead intended to meet you where you are in the present moment and prepare you to meet your own expectations. It is based on the philosophy that a holistically balanced life, you become empowered to live your life’s purpose. Coaching strives to align you with your higher self looking at mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of your life and works toward bringing those aspects into harmony.

I am so thankful to have found Natalie for treatment of my chronic pain. I have suffered from chronic low back, knee & shoulder pain as a result of past injuries. Unlike other therapists that I have been to in the past, she assessed me & helped zero in on what treatments would work best for my condition. She helped me figure out what exercises & stretches I needed to do on my own to speed up my recovery. Because of her knowledge of the body and her intuitive nature, she is able to discern the source of the pain and work specifically on those areas. I no longer have to deal with daily pain & still use some of her exercises in my program today!read more

Brianna was great! Didn’t talk about my energy or my chakras even once! ? She just focussed on relaxing the muscles and soft tissue involved in the problem after a thorough intake and assessment. Spent time to educate me on corrective measures and sent me take home material to improve my neck and shoulder. The massage itself was excellent. I highly recommend this place!read more

I have been struggling to recover from hip replacement surgery. The physical therapist recommended that I get some Clinical Massage Therapy and gave me Brianna's card. I am so happy with the results. Very enjoyable massage, plus I am finally walking without a limp. I signed up for a four message package and am considering another round after this because the clinical massage has proven to be so successful.read more

Brianna is a high quality and very experienced therapist. She takes the time to get to know you in order to build rapport. On the several occasions that I have seen her for massage therapy, I am always imparted with a sense of community - like meeting up with an old friend. During a session, she makes it a point to understand the right amount of pressure to use and to also focus on any specific problem areas. I highly recommend Brianna and The Anatomy of Wellness to all.read more

I've had many massages before but this was my first time asking for a clinical massage to help treat stress and headaches. I found it very helpful so I paid in advance for three more. She seemed very knowledgeable and was able to provide helpful feedback as well.read more

Let's talk about clinical massages everyone, because if you haven't had the chance to try one.... you definitely should! I can't even begin to explain how much Brianna has helped relive my chronic back and shoulder pain. She's super professional, personable and she's got a talent for soothing sore muscles either due to stress, injury, or in my case, awful posture. I would recommend her clinical massages to anyone who needs work done, specially if you are looking for a professional who cares, knows what their doing and will actually help you. Thanks Brianna!!read more

I am so thankful that I found The Anatomy of Wellness! I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who is looking for a massage therapist who truly understands the body. I first came to Brianna as I was returning to running after a long period of frustrating injuries. I knew that I needed to find a way to take better care of myself, so I decided to give massage therapy a try. As someone who has been to a few different therapists in the past, it has been hard for me to find someone that I wanted to consistently go to. After my first visit, I knew that I would be a repeat customer! Brianna has been able to work with me through specific tight areas and weaknesses, and my regular visits with her have become such an important part of my maintenance routine. She always takes the time to understand what you need and asks for feedback so that she can customize her approach. After over a year I am still injury free and I will definitely keep coming back!read more

I can't say enough great things about Brianna. I didn't know structural/orthopedic massage therapy even existed, but it's exactly what I spent months and months searching for. So grateful to have found a therapist who could correctly identify and alleviate the discomfort in my right shoulder (which wasn't knots & stress like I assumed - it was actually muscle weakness, identified by Brianna)The Anatomy of Wellness perfectly describes Brianna's approach. Not only does she address the superficial problems (she will, without a doubt, find the EXACT point of discomfort that brought you in) but she takes it to the next level. She truly understands the body, how everything connects & interacts, and can help to discover the true cause/root of an issue. I guarantee you will not regret trying Anatomy of Wellness out.read more

I've seen Brianna about 4 times now, and can say with confidence that she is talented and genuine massage therapist. I've come to her with a multitude of ailments, from work-induced upper back tension to a "crick in the neck". I feel she takes time to find the root of the problem before treatment, and suggests helpful stretches and exercises to work on post-treatment. I would recommend her to anyone who needs deep tissue release. Make sure you read your confirmation email, though! Her studio is inside another salon and took me a bit of time to find the first day. Other than that, two pain-free thumbs up!read more
