Counseling Services | Salt Lake City
Actionable Goals. Measurable Progress. Infinite Possibilities.
My Philosophy
I believe healing begins with connection—both within yourself and with those around you. The health of our relationships matter and hinges on the communication skills we bring into them. My goals include assisting clients in developing insight, build emotional resilience, and reconnecting to their innate power to live with intention. My approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for your unique journey.
I work with individuals who are committed to showing up to do the work it will take to see change. The work begins and ends with you–I merely facilitate a safe space to explore your thoughts, beliefs, and new skills. My job includes understanding the world through your lens and advocating for your success in achieving your unique therapy goals.
My Approach
I understand the courage it takes to be vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and seen. My work is collaborative and tailored to your specific needs. I draw from a variety of evidence-based and integrative approaches—including DBT, CBT, ACT, and somatic experiencing. I value exploring formative life experiences and attachment patterns while also helping you develop practical tools and new ways of thinking that foster greater self-awareness and emotional balance.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating nervous system burnout, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, life transitions, religious trauma, and relationship challenges. I particularly enjoy working with women and young adults. I bring warmth, presence, and the occasional sense of humor to our sessions—along with space for existential/philosophical curiosity when it arises. I’m especially passionate about helping people heal from trauma, connect to their deeper selves, and create mindful habits that align with their values.
About Me
For over 18 years, I’ve worked in physical rehabilitation, supporting individuals with chronic pain. My own lived experience with traumatic injury and the resulting effects of pain has shaped my understanding of what it means to face this type of adversity and rebuild a meaningful life. These experiences inspired me to pursue a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, integrating my passion for holistic wellness with emotional healing.
On personal note, traveling the world is my lifelong goal. I have been to many different parts of the world and love taking in the architecture, food, and culture everywhere I go. I love to paddleboard, hike, and try -with moderate success- to grow flowers in my garden.
“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we’ll ever do.”
— Brené Brown
